Firming Muscles

One of the things I truly hate about myself is the flabby arms I have. Although I have managed to lose weight over the years, the excess skin I have is truly horrifying to say the least. Because of this one thing, I still am not able to wear sleeveless tops and tank tops as I am too conscious about the way they look. My friend told me to firm it up by lifting weights.

I got myself a neoprene dumbbell set so I can make sure that this horrible thing can go away for good. I head out to my house after I do some running around the neighborhood and work on my arms this time. Hopefully I am able to get rid of the same and allow myself to be much more comfortable with the way I look. And this time, maybe I need not have to cover my flabby arms to everyone.

Holiday Weight

It can be very frustrating for us whenever we would need to step in our weighing scales after the holiday season is over. We would often be surprised to find how much weight we have gained, considering that we have only binged for a matter of days. Getting oneself fit is really a challenge. It takes months to burn out the fat and a few days to easily get it back on our bodies.

There are many machines and equipment in the market today which can help us get right back on track when it comes to shedding off that holiday weight. A pilates machine is much used by many individuals these days, because of the wonderful results it brings them. Nothing beats being able to get right back on track with one’s fitness goals. Holidays can be fun, but the after party blues can be really frustrating.

Finding Balance

I have always wanted to find ways not only to reduce the level of stress I feel but also to help me relax. I usually head out to the office gym in order to get myself fit and healthy at all times, but I would still feel the burnout from the stress at work. I figured I needed to look for an alternative class which allows me to relax and at the same time shed off some pounds in the process.

These days I am into meditation, yoga and pilates in order to get myself in shape and find the relaxation I need. I am currently shedding off more pounds in comparison to the time I would simply head out to the gym. These days, I would simply have my exercise floor mat and get myself back in balance once again after a stressful day at work.

Supporting The Goal

My boyfriend has always been supportive in all the things that I would want to achieve for myself. He has also been there for me during my ups and downs and I owe it to him for having the confidence to push through with what I want in my life. As his girlfriend, I am also supportive about the things he would like to achieve and uplift his spirits every time he needs someone behind to back him up. We are quite a couple they say, but we rely on each other for support and love.

One of my boyfriend’s recent goals was focused into muscle building. He has always been the type who would be conscious about his weight and the way he looked, particularly because he is into sales and would need to look presentable at all times. He had been going through rigorous exercise regimen and follows a strict diet. He also is slowly changing his lifestyle just so he can get to his desired goal. As his girlfriend, I am but very supportive in whatever he sets his mind on.

There was a time when I was really alarmed with my weight. I gained 10lbs in a very short amount of time and I got disgusted with myself. I blamed my office job because it’s a job that required me to sit on a chair for hours. But eventually, I accepted the fact that it was my entire fault and that only me can change it.

So I started to eat healthy foods and change my diet. Aside from that I also enrolled in one of those exercise programs so that it can help me lose weight more quickly. At first I didn’t follow the program religiously and it wasn’t very effective. That’s why I followed it the right way and after that the effects was very great!

Life Changes

There are a lot of things I am particularly conscious about with myself. One of these things is my body. I am big-boned and add to that the fact that being Italian equates to those countless parties with tons of great food and wonderful drinks. It was sort of an excuse I would tell myself and others, that my lifestyle is simply not allowing me to be more conscious about my weight and the way I go about my day. But it was an eye-opener for me when my doctor told me that if I should continue with this I would eventually need to start drinking maintenance pills for my heart, and I certainly would not want to end my life at such a young age.

So I took my doctor’s advice and started looking for ways by which I can at least get to burn those excessive calories I am taking. You can never make me do that equipment at the gym, so I settled for classes in pilates and get myself on some pilates equipment which are quite more fun. I have a long way to go in trying to change my life for the better, but at least I am starting to make that change now and I am hoping that it will last this time around. That, or be six feet under.

Staying Home

Having three kids and my husband always away for those client meetings in various places, I am left at home to take care of everything. With this setup I hardly find the time to do something for myself, unless when I have those times when my siblings or my mom visiting me in town. This setup can be quite difficult for me, but we all have to make sacrifices to ensure that our kids would have a bright future ahead. I learned to hire nannies whenever I need some break from the house, and I have slowly gotten used to my life as a mother.

Since I stay home most of the time, one of the things I miss is having time to head to the gym and do some exercising. And although I may be moving around all day taking care of my family, it is quite different when I have the equipment with me to work on certain parts of my body. My friend suggested I buy a pilates equipment for home to get me those exercising in the comforts of my house. Now I don’t need to worry about not getting enough exercises. And my new body is sure to make my husband happy when he gets home. Now, staying at home isn’t so bad after all.

A Perfect Stretching Aide

I am in front of the computer for eight hours a day because of my work. Sometimes it’s even longer when I have overtimes. This has caused a lot of muscles in my body to cry out of pain whenever I stand up and finally go home. This adds to the stress I feel and it’s really taking a toll on my health.

Thankfully, my friend introduced me to yoga and she has been teaching me for weeks. At first, I really had a hard time following her because of my stiffness. That’s why she gave me a Stretch-EZ in order for me to cope up. It is really a great stretching aide and now I can do moves easily and effortlessly because of it.

Shedding the Pounds

I have always been conscious about my weight. Having weight issues was a thing struggled by almost everyone in the family. I constantly had to look after my health and wellbeing. Especially since my family has a history of diabetes and heart disease.

Remaining fit is never easy. Temptations are available everywhere. I simply had to find an exercise program that I enjoyed and stuck with it. That way I need not be lazy on getting up on my feet to exercise. I stacked my pantry with healthier choices. This helps me control those urges for junk food. Shedding the pounds is definitely a continuous challenge.

The size of a mini-trampoline makes it well-suited for indoor activities such as cardiac jumping exercises.

At only 12 inches from the ground, a mini trampoline cannot exert enough rebound, or the upward force exerted on the person jumping on it, to cause the user to jump extremely high. It is still designed to have enough flex and give to reduce any damage that could significantly damage the knees and the leg joints. A lot of fitness routines now employ a mini-trampoline specifically for this reason.
