The Common Option for Breast Enhancement
August 25, 2010
Many women dream of having larger breasts. To achieve this, there are limited options. One of the more common means is through breast implants. It may be common but it is fraught with controversies. Although they have been deemed reasonably safe and effective by the FDA, they still carry risks, and they are not for everyone.
It is interesting to learn about the risks that breast enhancement brings. It is a surgical procedure; with it comes the usual effects of anesthesia, infection, swelling, bleeding and pain. Breast implants can also deflate if saline solution leaks when the shell is damaged. Deflated breast implants will need further surgery to remove and replace. Even without deflation, breast implants can wear out over time.
